More Than 30 Years of Imaging Leadership

RMI’s distinguished history as a medical imaging leader in the mid-Michigan community began more than 30 years ago, when David Strahle, M.D., opened an independent imaging center on Nerredia Street in Flint.

Since that beginning, under the leadership of Dr. Strahle and Randy Hicks (M.D., M.B.A., RMI’s co-owner and CEO), RMI  evolved into a seven-location practice serving the community. We have a growing team of nearly 20 radiologists, with a distinguished track record of being among the earliest in mid-Michigan to introduce important innovations in diagnostic  and interventional radiology.

This has included pioneering the diagnostic benefits of 4D Breast MRI and continues today with such initiatives as our expanding vascular and interventional radiology programs and our involvement with national clinical trials of cryoablation for breast cancer treatment.

Bringing the Guest Experience to Imaging

RMI’s efforts to be the standard-setter for imaging also extend beyond the clinical. It includes our singular commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to patients and referring physicians, particularly with our new focus on “guest experience” — an initiative designed to provide personalized service that matches or exceeds customer expectations.

Our history and current directions as an organization, therefore, present opportunities for clinicians, managers, and support staff alike that are hard to match not only in our local market, but in the healthcare industry at large.

We invite motivated clinical and administrative professionals interested in working for this dynamic environment to contact RMI’s Human Resources department today.
