About Dr. Hicks
Dr. Randy Hicks is a board-certified radiologist, healthcare executive, and published researcher known for his leadership in women’s imaging and innovation in diagnostic radiology. As CEO and Owner of Regional Medical Imaging (RMI), Dr. Hicks has been instrumental in advancing patient-centered care through cutting-edge technology, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to quality.
Dr. Hicks is a recognized leader in breast cancer imaging, with additional expertise in parathyroid and thyroid diagnostics. He has played a key role in advancing interventional breast biopsy procedures and product innovation. A dedicated advocate for women’s health, Dr. Hicks also collaborates closely with multiple AI companies, leading the development and integration of artificial intelligence tools designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and streamline clinical workflows.
Building on his clinical expertise and forward-thinking mindset, Dr. Hicks also brings substantial financial and strategic insight to the broader healthcare and business landscape. In 2025, he was appointed to the Board of Directors for ChoiceOne Financial Services Inc. and ChoiceOne Bank following the merger with Fentura Financial Services (the 4th largest community bank in Michigan and traded actively on the Nasdaq), where he had served as a director since 2011. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan State Radiological Society, where he chairs the Finance Committee. His career includes involvement in commercial real estate and development ventures, further reflecting his entrepreneurial acumen and ability to lead across sectors.
Dr. Hicks earned his medical degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine and completed his radiology residency at MSU Affiliated Hospitals. He also holds an MBA, which has helped guide his strategic leadership of RMI. A proud Michigan native and graduate of Kalamazoo College, Dr. Hicks remains deeply committed to serving communities across the state. When he’s not leading in medicine or business, he enjoys making maple syrup at his family-owned sugar shack – another example of his hands-on, purpose-driven approach to everything he does.
