In order to help support our community and to meet the challenges ahead, RMI has dedicated funding for charitable focus areas. This is one of the many ways our RMI family focuses on helping your family.

Interested in working with us? Here is a list of some of the opportunities we seek in order to further our goals of community health:

Goal:
To support efforts that provide healthy and safe opportunities for children and families to participate in local sports events, teams, and leagues in Genesee, Oakland, and Wayne counties.

Objectives/What We Seek:

  • Community Sports. Quality athletic opportunities for children and families.
  • Sports-Related Healthcare. Advanced, affordable, and accessible non-emergency diagnostic and screening outpatient radiological services.

Goal:
To support efforts that advance Parkinson’s research, public awareness, treatment, and early diagnosis, as well as efforts to improve the quality of life for those who currently have Parkinson’s Disease.

Objectives/What We Seek:

  • Early Diagnosis. Advanced, affordable, and accessible diagnostic imaging and screening procedures with an emphasis on mid and southern Michigan.
  • Research and Prevention. Work toward a cure or preventative treatment.
  • Support for Individuals with Parkinson’s. Affordable treatment averting undue economic hardship for individuals and their families.

Goal:
To support efforts that advance Cancer research, public awareness, prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment as well as efforts that improve the quality of life for those who currently have or have had Cancer.

Objectives/What We Seek:

  • Cancer Research and Prevention. A cure and treatment that is less invasive than cutting, poisoning, or burning cancerous cells.
  • Early Diagnosis. Advanced, affordable, and accessible diagnostic imaging and screening procedures with an emphasis on mid and southern Michigan.
  • Cancer Survivors Support. A vibrant community that speaks out openly and honestly about what it means to have and survive cancer without stigma, misunderstanding, or fear.
  • Support for Individuals with Cancer. Affordable treatment averting undue economic hardship for individuals and their families.

Goal:
To support efforts that improve the overall health and quality of life of mid and southern Michigan residents and encourage community partnerships and cooperation with programs focused on the health and well-being of mid and southern Michigan men, women, and children.

Objectives/What We Seek:

  • Men’s Health. Healthy, empowered, and proactive men taking control and responsibility for their health, treatment, and preventative measures.
  • Women’s Health. Healthy, empowered, and proactive women taking control and responsibility for their health, treatment, and preventative measures.
  • Children and Families. Healthy and productive lives for mid and southern Michigan children and their families.
  • Special Initiatives. Flexibility to respond to critical needs, seize special opportunities, leverage other resources and support community endeavors with a focus on Genesee, Oakland, and Wayne counties.
